Arrival by Train

From Vienna Central Station, a transportation hub of the European railway network, many trains depart daily to Eisenstadt in a safe and comfortable manner.

Train connections between Vienna and Eisenstadt run usually every hour. The fastest connection is from Vienna Central Station via Meidling and Wulkaprodersdorf directly to Eisenstadt with the REX 65 and takes 1 hour and 3 minutes.

There are also regular hourly trains from Sopron in Hungary to Wulkaprodersdorf (change trains) with a direct connection to Eisenstadt. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

Arrival by Bus

Public buses also run regularly from and to Vienna Central Station, Wiener Neustadt, Rust, Mörbisch, Neusiedl am See, and the Mittel- and Südburgenland regions. The bus parking lot is centrally located, next to the cathedral and only a few steps away from the pedestrian zone, Esterházy Palace, and the Cultural and Congress Center.
